Orlando Magic star Franz Wagner has suffered an oblique tear and will be out of action indefinitely, according to Shams Charania of ESPN.

According to Charania, Wagner suffered the injury Friday night against the 76ers and will be re-evaluated in four weeks.

This is devastating news for the Magic as Wagner suffers the same injury as his co-star Paolo Banchero, who last played on 30 October.

Orlando is currently in third place in the East with a 16-9 record and will face the Milwaukee Bucks in the NBA Cup quarterfinals on Tuesday.

ANALYSIS: This is a blow for the Magic, who will now be without Wagner and Banchero. Wagner averaged 24.4 PTS, 5.7 AST and 5.6 REB this season as he played like an all-star to lead the team in all aspects without Banchero.
